We are members of iWeek, a student association of Efrei and Esigetel, IT engineering schools, based in Paris, France. For the last 15 years, our association has been organizing an international week for IT and computer science students from our international partner universities. As Efrei and Esigetel have a network of nearly 90 international partners in more than 30 countries, our iWeek program is a great opportunity for IT students from all around the world to meet each other, to discover Paris, our campus and to meet students and faculty from Efrei and Esigetel.
This year the iWeek program will take place from Saturday March 4th to Sunday March 11th 2017. The participation fee for international students is only €80 and all the following services are included:
- Airport pickup and transportation throughout Paris during the program.
- Accommodationin the home of French students.
- All mealswill be provided during the program
- Visits of Paris museumsand monuments (Eiffel tower, Louvres Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Versailles Castle)
- Discovery of Paris’ history through guided visits of Montmartre, the Latin Quarter, The Marais 17th century historical district, etc.),
- A cruise on the Seine river
- Participation in numerous social and cultural events(French dinner, international soiree, wine tasting, picnic at the Eiffel tower, etc.)
- Participation in the Efrei and Esigetel international academic and cultural fair(students must bring brochures and goodies from their home university as well as cultural specialties from their country (snacks, candies, costume, etc.) During the international fair, each participant will represent his/her university and country.
Participating students have to cover for their international transportation and travel insurance.
Students can apply online until the 15th of January 2017. The number of participants being limited, the iWeek organizing team will select the candidates and confirm participation by the end of January.
