Kernel Analytics is looking to hire a junior analyst to participate in data analysis projects and the development of predictive systems. The selected candidate will work on modeling and optimization algorithms in areas as diverse as demand forecasting, personalized recommendation, and customer churn prevention.
We are looking for dynamic individuals with the capacity to learn, eager to develop professionally in a growing company with the aim of always using the most advanced methods and cutting-edge technology.
The offered position is a full-time job based in the Madrid office.
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or engineering
- Knowledge of data mining, statistics, and / or econometrics
- Programming skills and advanced knowledge of at least one programming language
- Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Ability to think analytically, quantitatively, and creatively
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong interest in finding practical solutions to complex business problems
- Good communication skills
- Ability to transform data into business insights
- Advanced level of Spanish and English
Other highly valued skills/experience:
- Masters degree in data science, econometrics, quantitative economics, artificial intelligence, modeling, or similar specialization
- Experience in statistical modeling and / or machine learning (regression, time series classification, and clustering algorithms…)
- Knowledge of Python or R programming languages
